Gloria Reisman, president and founder, combines her communication, marketing, and customer service talents to provide consultants and contract staff for business-critical projects. Since 1984, Reisman has placed high-quality training, communications and usability experts in Fortune 1000 companies.

From sign language interpreter to business “translator”

Reisman started her career as a sign language interpreter, assisting hearing-impaired people in communicating and clarifying their needs in medical, legal, and educational settings. She moved to the business arena as a job placement specialist for disabled workers in Minneapolis.

Gloria’s ‘informational’ style

“I used my informational style of communicating and ‘selling’ to highlight the benefits of hiring disabled workers,” Reisman explains. “I learned quickly not to oversell, but to be realistic about a person’s skills, assets, and limitations.”

Listening to clients

Gloria’s interest in business led her to advertising account management in New York City where she honed her marketing and customer service skills. “Clients know their needs and it’s important to listen to their priorities, and understand their corporate culture.”

A business ‘partner’
